Profile: Krista Henson

Krista Henson started her career in the mortgage industry in 2006 as an underwriting assistant at Castle Mortgage before joining McGowin-King Mortgage in 2008. In addition to processing loans, Krista also works as a personal assistant for Travis McGowin and a bookkeeper for the company.

Krista graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. In the summer of 2005, she studied British History at St. John’s College in Oxford University. 

Krista lives in Hoover with her husband, Joe, where they purchased their first home in 2009.  Krista and Joe enjoy spending time with their miniature poodle, Rufus and bad-attitude cat, Winston.  They are expecting their first child in February 2012.
